Moneyball

I just finished reading the book Moneyball tonight, really good stuff, if you are fairly into baseball. Most of it read like a novel (except chapter 2, take heart the rest is really interesting). I guess it just affirms what I learned in Stats 1 last semester, statistics lie. Its interesting to read how to run a major league baseball team on a shoestring budget and I don't mean a 100 million dollars.

I leave for Maryland tomorrow, it will be nice to get out of town for a few days. Raleigh has been pretty depressing as of late. Probably the only place that could be more depressing would be home. Lucky me I am heading there next weekend for my birthday.

I should probably sleep now, Dad might want me to drive some tomorrow... eek!
